The Epsilon alumni and undergraduate leadership has developed a plan to address the long-term viability of the Tau Kappa Epsilon experience on the Iowa State University campus. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that updates and maintenance to the chapter house are necessary, and the fraternity must invest to meet the needs of today’s students. A fraternity fundraising effort will enable the chapter to meet its goals.

Highlights:

  • Addition to the house resulting in an increase from 21,600 to 27,322 square feet

  • Increase live-in capacity from 60 to 88 members by providing a variety of live-in options to promote privacy and community

  • Provide ample study space, including areas for individual and group study, as well as improved wireless internet access throughout the facility

  • Expand, renovate, and modernize bathrooms

  • Expand dining/chapter room to accommodate current chapter membership

  • Add steel fence with concrete base

  • Double the endowment for scholarship programs to further the level and scope of scholarships, regardless of external economic factors
